But wait! There's more...

It was one of the greatest honours for me, as ABWAC President, to present the Gold Stanley for Artist of the Year to Courier-Mail artist Brett Lethbridge in Adelaide in November 1997. Brett did it again in 1998 - surely one of Australia's premier rising cartooning stars!

In September, 2002, I donated a caricature of, and later "hung out" with, Neil Finn for The Fred Hollows Foundation 10th. birthday dinner. Neil performed tunes from his Split Enz and Crowded House days, as well as more recent songs from his solo albums, in the round and "unplugged". The caricature helped raise a yet-to-be-determined (but huge) amount of money for this worthwhile cause, and I got to catch up with some old friends (including Trevor Fearnley, who gave me my first paid caricature job!).
